​The issues that are important to me:


  • Bringing Businesses to our community.  I have worked to make sure that Aberdeen continues to attract businesses to our community.  Since I was first elected numerous businesses have come to Aberdeen.  There still remains to be challenges in a changing economy, but I will work to meet those changes.
  • Crime.  It is apparent that the problem of drugs is increasing our crime rate.  I have always worked to support our police officers in their mission of protecting the citizens of our community.  I will work to make sure that we have a safe community.
  • Infrastructure.  I have worked to improve our roads, bridges, sewers.  I have done so finding ways that will save the taxpayer money in the long run.  It is better to be proactive.  I have supported building new roads, mill and overlay, sewer lining, and replacing our bridges.  I will continue to work to improve our vital City infrastructure.
  • Community Safety.  I worked to add firefighters to make sure all our fire stations were properly staffed.  This has reduced response times, and aided in lowering our insurance rating.  This will save homeowners, and businesses, money in insurance premiums.
